Fin Nest

Fin Nest — Terms of Service

Version 2026-10-06

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are the agreement between you and Fin Nest ("we", "us") for your use of the Fin Nest website at finnestcopilot.com and the Fin Nest app (together, the "Service"). By clicking Accept, or by using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

While Fin Nest is in its invitation-only beta, the Beta Testing Terms also apply. If the two conflict, the Beta Testing Terms control.

1. What Fin Nest is

Fin Nest helps you research and analyze: comparable-company valuation screens, stock write-ups, capital-budgeting analysis and real-estate underwriting. The numbers are calculated by ordinary software from public filings (SEC EDGAR), market data, and figures you provide. An AI model (Anthropic's Claude) chooses which calculations to run and writes the explanation.

The AI can make mistakes. It can misread a result, leave something out, or describe a number incorrectly. Treat everything Fin Nest produces as a draft to check, not a conclusion.

2. Not investment advice

3. Your account

4. What you may not do

You agree not to:

5. Your content and how we use it

You keep ownership of what you type and upload ("Inputs"). You give us permission to store, process and display your Inputs to run the Service, to keep it secure and reliable, and to review conversations to answer your questions, fix problems and check the quality of outputs. The Beta Testing Terms explain how conversations are stored and which providers handle them.

You may use outputs for your own research and internal purposes. Outputs can include third-party data that you may not redistribute (see section 6). The same analysis may be produced for other people, so we do not promise that an output is unique.

6. Third-party data and services

Fin Nest relies on public filings, market-data providers, an AI provider (Anthropic) and cloud providers (Google). Their data and services can be late, incomplete or wrong, and we cannot guarantee them. Market data is licensed to us to show to you for your own use. Do not copy, redistribute or sell it. Our providers' own terms may apply to their data.

7. Credits and payment

The beta is free. Any credit we give you is a usage allowance, not money. It has no cash value, cannot be transferred or refunded, and we may change or reset it. If we introduce paid plans, we will show you the price and ask you to agree separately before we charge you anything.

8. Our property and your feedback

We own the Service, including its software, design, methods and trademarks. We give you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for your own research under these Terms. If you give us feedback, we may use it freely without owing you anything.

9. Changes, suspension and ending

We may change, pause or stop any part of the Service at any time, and we may suspend or end your access at any time. You may stop using the Service at any time. If we change these Terms in a way that matters, we will ask you to accept the new version before you continue. Sections that by their nature should continue after your access ends will continue.

10. No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we give no warranties of any kind, including about accuracy, completeness, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not promise that outputs are free of errors.

11. Limits on our responsibility

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, trading losses or investment losses, arising from your use of the Service. Our total responsibility for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and US$100. Nothing in these Terms limits a responsibility that the law does not allow to be limited.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. If you have a complaint, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it informally. Any court case must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Virginia.

13. Electronic agreement

You agree that clicking Accept is your electronic signature and that we may keep an electronic record of it, including the version of these Terms, and the date and time you accepted. You may ask us for a copy.

14. General

These Terms, together with the Beta Testing Terms and anything else we ask you to accept, are the whole agreement between us about the Service. If a part of them cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a right straight away, we have not given it up. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms; we may.

15. Contact
